Having a favorite band is tantamount to having bad taste. It’s like being a picky eater: decidedly unintelligent and morally wrong. Music-fandom should not be a monogomous relationship. If there’s a band you listen to so regularly that they can be called your favorite band then you have failed. You should just cut your ears off, fill the holes with wax and then sit in the corner for the rest of your life trying to go down on yourself because that would be your only chance at redemption.
